School Examinations

At KV Patshala, we strive to provide a stress-free learning environment that encourages students to develop a love for learning while ensuring academic excellence. In alignment with the CBSE curriculum, the school follows the *ontinuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) assessment policy for students from Grades 1 to 10. This approach ensures a holistic evaluation of the student’s progress throughout the academic year.

Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation

The CCE policy involves continuous assessment that monitors both scholastic and co-scholastic areas, emphasizing the overall development of the student. The evaluation process is divided into two types of assessments:

Formative Assessment (FA):

Conducted throughout the term, formative assessments evaluate students’ learning progress through a variety of methods such as quizzes, assignments, group activities, and oral tests. This continuous assessment approach encourages students to engage actively with the material, track their own learning, and seek improvement in areas where they need support.

Summative Assessment (SA):

Held at the end of each term, summative assessments measure students' understanding of the syllabus covered, providing a comprehensive snapshot of their academic performance. These assessments are more formal and help consolidate learning while motivating students to excel in their studies.
